Is there a plugin to integrate your tools into WordPress easily?
Yes. You can now integrate all tools in my-Tool.com into your WordPress blog seamlessly and easily. Just install my-Tool plugin, set the parameters and you are ready to offer our tools in your blog.
Installation
- Unzip 'my-tool.zip' and extract 'my-tool.php' into your WordPress plugin directory.
- Go to WordPress plugin administration page and activate 'my-Tool'.
- Go to Options -> my-Tool page and set the default options to fit your blog.
- You are ready to embed 'my-Tool' into your posts and pages.
Usage
To use my-Tool just include the following tag into the content of your posts or pages
[my-tool]TOOL_PATH[/my-tool]
or simply copy & paste the TOOL_PATH from address bar of my-Tool.com as
[my-tool]http://www.my-tool.com/TOOL_PATH[/my-tool]
For example
[my-tool]mathematics/maximaphp[/my-tool]
or the long version
[my-tool]http://www.my-tool.com/mathematics/maximaphp/[/my-tool]
Overriding Options
You may override option's default values for each and every tool you want. Just provide the override values inside the tag with the syntax:
[my-tool siblings=<true|false> width=<WIDTH> height=<HEIGHT> color=<COLOR> background_color=<BACKGROUND_COLOR> background_image=<BACKGROUND_IMAGE> link_color=<LINK_COLOR> visited_color=<VISITED_COLOR> hover_color=<HOVER_COLOR> active_color=<ACTIVE_COLOR> hr_top_color=<HR_TOP_COLOR> hr_bottom_color=<HR_BOTTOM_COLOR> link_position=<top-left|top-center|top-right|bottom-left|bottom-center|bottom-right> link_prefix=<LINK_PREFIX> link_suffix=<LINK_SUFFIX>]TOOL_PATH[/my-tool]
The simple rules are:
- use spaces to separate options
- no spaces around = (equal sign)
- no quotes around value, not ' (single quotes) nor " (double quotes)
- no spaces inside value, use + (plus sign) or %20 to write space
For example, to override height to 1024, siblings to 'true', link position to 'top-center', anchor prefix to empty and suffix to 'for all' use:
[my-tool height=1024 siblings=true link_position=top-center link_prefix= link_suffix=for+all]mathematics/maximaphp[/my-tool]
Parameters
| my_tool_tool | : | Complete name of tool to integrate. This is part of tool's url in my-Tool.com just after domain name, heading and trailing slash are optional. (eg. mathematics/maximaphp) |
| my_tool_siblings | : | Whether to show the sibling tools in the same category or not. (true, false) |
| my_tool_width | : | Width of tool. (eg. 100%, 800, 600) |
| my_tool_height | : | Height of tool. (eg. 800, 600, 400) |
| my_tool_color | : | Font color of tool. (eg. #000000) |
| my_tool_background_color | : | Background color of tool. (eg. #FFFFFF) |
| my_tool_background_image | : | Complete url of background image of tool. (eg. http://www.my-tool.com/images/my-tool.png) |
| my_tool_link_color | : | Link color of tool. (eg. #0000CC) |
| my_tool_visited_color | : | Visited link color of tool. (eg. #551A8B) |
| my_tool_hover_color | : | Hovered link color of tool. (eg. #0000CC) |
| my_tool_active_color | : | Active link color of tool. (eg. #FF0000) |
| my_tool_link_hr_top_color | : | Top color of horizontal ruler inside tool. (eg. #0000CC) |
| my_tool_link_hr_bottom_color | : | Bottom color of horizontal ruler inside tool. (eg. #0000CC) |
| my_tool_link_position | : | Position of link back to my-Tool.com. (top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, bottom-right) |
